MIGHEN (PETER), bookseller in London, is mentioned in the Privy Purse expenses of Henry VIII under January, 1530, "Item the xv daye paid to Sr John Russell for so moche money by himpaied to one Peter Mighen for divers books, iii li." [Nicholas, Privy Purse expenses of Henry VIII, p. 18.] Several London booksellers named Meighen occur at a later date.
