DUFF, E.G. (1905), p.35

CROST (ANTHONY), stationer in London, was an original member of the Stationers' Company, having been made free on October 1st, 1556. He paid several subscriptions at the incorporation, but is not mentioned afterwards in the Registers. The reason for this is that in July, 1557, he went as one of the four soldiers sent from the Stationers' Company, levied for the army sent to Philip in Flanders.

MLT Note: Duff, E.G. (1905) - in July, 1557, he went as one of the four soldiers sent from the Stationers' Company, levied for the army sent to Philip in Flanders. ---
