AE (REINAERDT VAN DER) is mentioned in the list of members of the Dutch church in London in 1550 as an assistant to Stephen Mierdman { MIERDMAN, Stephen ‹ LBT 28337 › }. He was no doubt one of the many refugees from the Low Countries who came over during Edward VI's reign and returned when Mary came to the throne. [R. of A., I, 209.]
