MLT Note: Plomer, H.R. &c. (1922) lists a J.Baker, and mentions this man who was Warden of the Stationers' Company. However, the Warden died in 1689, whereas it appears that Plomer's subject was active in the first decade of the eighteenth century. See also (LBT/01129).
