Further Notes

On 28 Aug and 4 Dec 1654 and again on 2 Apr 1655 Butter was granted financial relief, on the latter occasion being referred to as "once a member of this Table", which implies that, formally or implicitly, his poverty had cost him his place on the Court. ---
