Further Notes
Upper Wardenship - Chappell did not attend Court between 3 May 1652 and 21 Jan 1662 being for much of that time in Ireland. On 2 Jul 1659 his intention of staying there and his failure to pay the fine for his second year as Upper Warden led to his being left out of the "ye pa[per] for Elec[ti]on of Warden". ---
