CLUEN (GERARD) de Amerfort, stationer, is mentioned only in the colophon to one book, an edition of the Sarum Missal, printed by W. Hopyl at Paris in 1504 for Gerard Cluen and Francis Birckman { BIRCKMAN, Francis ‹ LBT 28355 › }. Very probably both stationers were in London at the time, and no doubt Cluen was a near connection of Birckman, whose wife's name was Gertrude van Amersfoordt { BIRCKMAN, Gertrude van Amersfoordt ‹ LBT 05108 › }.
