Further Notes

At the same Pension Court that Cook's death was reported - was also reported that Elizabeth Godfrey another pensioner had been married to him for a number of years, and yet had never revealed this and had continued to draw her widow's pension. She was suspended and the next Pension Court her pension was declared vacant. ---
