TWYFORD, Henry ‹ LBT 10350 › Court Capt. John Williams, his son-in-law, appeared on behalf of Twyford "who is unable to serve as Assistant in his place by reason of his age and infirmities" and asks for the return of the £10 of his English Stock dividend witheld as a fine for Under Warden. The Court agreed, but he lost his seniority at the table though he continued to be considered an Assistant until his formal removal on 1 Mar 1688. When the Court was reconsituted on its 1684 basis in 1689 and again in 1690 Twyford had the legal right to take his right to take his place again but was not summoned, presumably because of his infirmit
