DUFF, E.G. (1905), p.40
DEVELL (THOMAS), stationer in London, was living in 1549 in St. Paul's Churchyard, in which year a foreigner who lived with him, Dr Adrian, paid taxes. (R. of A., I, 59.] He was an original member of the Stationers' Company, but is not mentioned after the year of incorporation in the Registers. It appears from the Records in the Guildhall (Rep., 10., f. 189] that he was made free of the Company of Stationers January 18th, 1541.
