DUFF, E.G. (1905), p.42
DUXWELL (THOMAS), stationer in London, is mentioned in Foxe [vol. viii, p. 74.] "One W. Gie ... bought a Bible and service book of Richard Waterson { WATERSON, Richard ‹ LBT 28238 › }, who then dwelt with master Duixile in Paul's Churchyard." In the list in the charter of 1557 Duxwell's name is seventeenth, and he soon became an "assistant," and in 1559-60 one of the Wardens. He entered one copy of a ballad in 1561-62, and is not found mentioned in the registers after 1566.
