Further Notes

Old Bailey (1674-1834) - a Thomas Graham described as a Printer was indicted for murdering his wife, Mary, on 16 Oct 1745. They are reported as peaceful couple but he was subject to fits, a Richard Phillips who was a close friend and had worked with Graham for five or six years - having known him for twenty - testified that he had never 'heard the least complaint in the world'. Graham was acquitted - accidental death. ---
