Further Notes

There is a problem over the identity of Sarah Grantham, John may have had two wives of this name, the second being the widow of Samuel Darker [LBT/14590] - cf.Treadwell, M. - Notes; also - the registers of St Ann Blackfriars record the burial of a Sarah, the wife of John Grantham on 2 Feb 1700, whilst those for St Giles Cripplegate record the birth and baptism of Hannh, daug of John Grantham, stationer, & Sarah, on 14 & 16 Feb 1703; whilst those for St Bartholomew the Great record the baptism a Sarah, daughter of John and Sarah Grantham on 15 Oct 1704. ---
