GREENE (THOMAS), bookseller in London, 1643. Only known from the imprint to a pamphlet entitled A Chaleng sent from Prince Rupert and the Lord Grandison, to Sir William Belford .... London, Printed for Thomas Greene, 1643. [B.M. 21 b. 10 (34).] A Thomas Greene { GREENE, Thomas ‹ LBT 07840 › }, son of Robert Greene, of Brotherton, co. York, was apprenticed to William Jaggard { JAGGARD, William ( - 1623) ‹ LBT 07351 › } on October 25th, 1602, for eight years. [Arber, ii. 267], but there is no record of his having taken up his freedom.
