KEMP (LEONARD), stationer in London, 1596-1616. Son of James Kemp of Roxham, co. Norfolk, yeoman. Apprentice to George Allen { ALLEN, George ( - 1600) ‹ LBT 28227 › }, stationer of London, for eight years from Midsummer, 1589, and took up his freedom June 26th, 1596 [Arber, ii. 157, 716). mentioned in a list of stationers holding shares in the Latin Stock in 1616. His address has not been found.
