DUFF, E.G. (1905), p.86

KITSON (ANTHONY), bookseller in London, was a member of the Drapers' Company. He was several times in trouble with the Stationers' Company who fined him for offences against their rules. He issued only a few books which were printed for him by others. His first wife Margaret { KITSON, Margaret ( - bur. 1567) ‹ LBT 06403 › }, by whom he had eleven children, died in 1567 and was buried in St. Faith's; he married again Mary { KITSON, Mary ‹ LBT 06404 › }, by whom he had a son John. He died in 1578 and his will was proved on July 12th. [Plomer, Wills, p. 25.] He was apparently a wealthy man and left considerable legacies to his children.
