3 Jul 1686 Court When Miller found himself next in line for Under Warden he asked not merely to be excused from serving or fining for the office, but to be excused from the Court as well. Initially he was merely excused the Under Wardenship for a year, but on this repeated his plea on 3 Aug and 6 September he was finally allowed to sign a formal renunciation of membership of the Court on the 7th.
