Chosen as an Assistant

| 14 Jun 1645 |
Court |
Confirmed - Partridge was closely associated with Sparkes in the latter's attack on the Court and of the eight new Assistants chosen on 5 May 1645 the were the only two who did not appear. Neverthelesss the election of both men was confirmed on 14 Jun 1645, conditional upon their paying certain fines levied by the Court relating to their passing the Renter Wardenship. Presumably Partidge declined payment since there is no record of his ever being sworn or seated as a member or attending a meeting of the Court
