The panel stamp ascribed to him by Weale [Catalogue of Bindings, Introduction, p. xl] really belonged to and was used by John Reynes { REYNES, John ( - 1542) ‹ LBT 28236 › }, for it is found used in conjunction with Reynes' signed roll.
