RUWE or RUE (ANDREW), stationer in London, carried on business in St. Paul's Churchyard with his brother John { RUE, John ( - 1492) ‹ LBT 28535 › }. His will dated October loth, 1517, was proved on November 24th. He left bequests to his sister Katherine at Frankfort, his wife Joane { RUE, Joanne ‹ LBT 05132 › } and his daughter Katherine. To Thomas Wallis and David Owen priests of St. Faith's he left copies of the Sermones Dormi Secure and Quentin's sermons. John Reynes { REYNES, John ( - 1542) ‹ LBT 28236 › } and Joyce Pelgrim { PELGRIM, Joyce ‹ LBT 30076 › }were two of his executors. [Plomer, Wills, p. 2.]
