RUWE or RUE (JOHN), stationer in London, was in business in St. Paul's Churchyard with his brother Andrew { RUE, Andrew ( - 1517) ‹ LBT 28536 › }. He was a native of Frankfort. His will dated December 23rd, 1492, was proved January 15th, 1493. He desired to be buried in the Pardon churchyard, and bequeathed his goods to his brother. A blank space is left for the name of one of the executors who is described as a printer of Westminster. [Plomer, Wills, p. i.]
