SMITH (HENRY), printer in London, was son-in-law to Robert Redman and is mentioned in his will dated 1540. He appears to have printed only in the years 1545 and 1546 and to have issued nothing but law-books. He lived at the sign of the Trinity, outside Temple Bar in St. Clement's Parish. He died in 1550 and his will was proved in December of that year. [Herb., II, 706-7.]
