Duff, E.G. (1905), p.153
SUETHON (LEWIS), stationer in London, is known only from the occurrence of his name in one book. This was a very fine folio edition of the Sarum Gradual printed at Paris in 1527 by Nicholas Prevost, "impensis ac sumptibus honestorum virorum Wynkyn de Worde { WORDE, Wynkyn de ( - 1534) ‹ LBT 02699 › }, Joannis Renis { REYNES, John ( - 1542) ‹ LBT 28236 › }, et Ludovici Suethon." [Bodl.] The name Suethon is unknown but it might possibly be a mistake or mis-spelling for Sutton, and a Lewis Sutton { SUTTON, Lewis ‹ LBT 28290 › } was Warden of the Company of Stationers in 1526
MLT Note: Duff, E.G. (1905) - very probably identical with Lewis Sutton (LBT/28290) ---
